\nMost lives are a flight from selfhood.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n Most prefer the truths of the stable.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n You stick your heads into the stanchions and munch contentedly until you die.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n Others use you for their purposes.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n Not once do you live outside the stable to lift your head and be your own creature.”<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

“I mean to disturb you!”\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>The Preacher shouted.<\/span>
\n “It is my intention!<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n I come here to combat the fraud and illusion of your conventional, institutionalized religion.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n As with all such religions, your institution moves toward cowardice, it moves toward mediocrity, inertia, and self-satisfaction.”<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

“Is your religion real when it costs you nothing and carries no risk?<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n Is your religion real when you fatten upon it?<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n Is your religion real when you commit atrocities in its name?”<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

That’s life deepest command.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>

We’re a probe into the unknown, into the uncertain.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

If certainty is knowing absolutely and absolute future, that’s only death disguised!”<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
