“<\/strong><\/em>The Pact<\/strong> is a group of like-minded individuals intent on achieving a similar goal.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\nCreated in 1992 by Orla Scott, <\/strong><\/em>The Pact<\/strong> has increased exponentially in size and commitment since that day.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\nWhile our rules and bylaws have changed, our membership has grown, and our members have spread far and wide, the mission and spirit of \u00a0<\/strong><\/em>The Pact<\/strong> remain true to the concept that Orla conceived in the very beginning.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The Pact<\/strong> was created for three reasons:<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

–<\/strong><\/em>first<\/strong>, to establish a clear set of definitions that can be used to understand and discuss the contract of marriage<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

–<\/strong><\/em>second<\/strong>, to establish rules and regulations for the marriage participants to adhere to, designed to strengthen the marriage contract and ensure success<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

–<\/strong><\/em>and third<\/strong>, to establish a community of individuals who share a common goal and desire to help each other achieve their individual goal – a successful marriage – which in turn strengthens the group.”<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
