\nAnd whomever I love, being them writers or actors, that means that I love how well they are doing their job. I am rarely interested in their personal life. Because at the end of the day I do not have them in my bed.<\/p>\n

Only when I read Maria Bello’s book, “Whatever…love is love”<\/strong><\/span>, I found out the honest answer she gave to her son, Jackson:<\/p>\n

“So, are you romantic with anyone right now?”<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\nI exhaled and finally said: “Clare.”<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\nHe looked at me for what seemed like an eternity. Then, he broke into a huge, warm smile.<\/span>
\n“Mom, whether you are a lesbian, gay, bi or transgender, shout it to the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/em>
\nWhatever, love is love,”<\/strong> <\/em>he said, with a wisdom beyond his years.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Yes, I hurt people I loved, and I take responsibility for that.<\/span><\/strong><\/em>
\nI also found a freedom in expressing my sexuality that I hadn’t felt before.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/em>
\nI began to understand that for many people, sex doesn’t equal love and that our primal physical drive isn’t necessarily bad.<\/span><\/strong><\/em>
\nSometimes, two people can just admit their connection is not sexual, but they share the same values, ideas, likes and dislikes, family and friends.”<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

“I’m just at the beginning of my romantic relationship with Clare and we are still in the discovery stage. Will that be forever? Probably not.<\/span><\/strong><\/em>
\nAs much as we hate to admit it, people do not stay the same and neither will we. Relationships change constantly.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/em>
\nI think if we are conscious enough, we can accept the change without throwing out the love.”<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

No surprise that Maria Bello isn’t shy in expressing her opinion about a controversial but famous book:<\/p>\n

“I believe that the book <\/span><\/strong><\/em>“Fifty shades of Grey”<\/span><\/strong> became a world-wide phenomena because people were finally given a chance to explore their fantasies in \u00a0safe way.”<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
